You have plenty of information, including reports, dashboards, interviews, and field accounts, but no single clear brief that leaders can actually use.
Independent judgement for AI, education, and public-interest systems
I work with foundations, evaluation teams, and public-interest institutions when AI and digital tools are reshaping work, risk, and responsibility, and the decision in front of you needs something more than a stack of reports.
Cernavia produces decision-grade written artefacts, including evidence briefs, learning syntheses, and governance memos, so senior decision-makers can see what may be missing, weigh options honestly, and act accountably.
Best aligned with
- Foundations and alliances
- Evaluation and learning teams
- Governance, risk, and ethics leads
- Public-interest institutions working with AI
When this work becomes useful
Is this the right place?
AI-enabled tools are being funded, piloted, or rolled out, yet questions about workload, verification load, neurodivergence, or relational risk are not answered by current metrics.
Boards, committees, or funders are asking for a deeper view of risk and readiness than standard compliance and performance frameworks provide.
You suspect that some of the most important effects on teachers, neurodivergent families, junior staff, or children are still largely invisible in current metrics and dashboards.
Most people who commission this work are sitting with fragments: vendor claims, dashboards, field accounts, and policy language that do not yet add up to a decision.
Two routes into the work
Two ways I can help
Evidence & Learning
Decision-ready synthesis
When you need to pull scattered material into one clear brief that leadership can actually use.
- Evidence & Options Briefs
- Learning Syntheses and Programme Insight Reports
- Best for moments where clarity, pattern recognition, and strategic options matter
Judgement & Governance
Risk, responsibility, and verification load
When leaders need a clearer view of where labour, judgement, and accountability have actually shifted.
- Verification-Load Diagnostics
- Shadow-Risk Briefs
- Governance Maturity & Judgement Notes
How the studio fits
Alongside existing evaluation, legal, and technical work
Cernavia sits alongside evaluation teams, legal advisers, and technical specialists. The studio focuses on synthesis, sensemaking, and decision support for specific governance and strategy moments.
- Synthesis, bringing together research, field accounts, and institutional documents into one coherent artefact
- Sensemaking, surfacing hidden assumptions, invisible labour, and second-order effects that standard tools often miss
- Decision support, writing for concrete governance and strategy moments
